my brother-in-law.

i have to say, i don't know my sister's husband that well even though they've been together for a awhile now. i do know he's an extremely nice person, an obviously adoring father, and a hard worker. but he's quiet, and thus largely a mystery to me. still, i blame the fact that they've always lived in another city for our lack of interpersonal relationship.

but nevermind all that. i've got something to show you that will make you love rocket's uncle justin instantly and abundantly. HERE, ladies and gentlemen, is my sister's family. in pumpkins. selected and arranged by justin.

this outing was impromptu so... more pictures of the full get-up with an actual camera to come at a later date. we were at the hyde park fall festival for just under an hour. our boy got one red and one blue balloon (blue decided to live in the tree). he is now passed out in his room. O-V-E-R-stimulated :)

i can't believe it's friday again.

rocket and i met aunt drea and baby piper at the baby gap today (rocket...had no pants that fit. now he does). i took no pictures of them because...i don't know why. baby piper was sleeping, and baby GAP is so far away that we weren't able to stay too terribly long. anyway. rocket tried on a hat.


obviously he looks adorable in this penguin hat. THIS is why we didn't BUY the hat...

drea can testify that i was literally wrestling him on the floor to get these pictures. people were staring. what can i say? the boy hates hats. and mommy likes pictures :)
