we snapped the second picture the other night just for laughs. i mean, how many times will we have the opportunity to take such different pictures in front of the same christmas tree? 11 december 2009: 29 december 2009:
aunt amanda graduated from college this semester, and she sweetly decided to share her graduation party with rocket since it fell on his one week birthday :)
rocket's schedule has shifted slightly from sleep all the time to some awake time in the morning. he's ever so fun :) and he loves his truck suit his auntie C got for him.
the first annual donning of the thanksgiving hats, our new family tradition. photo courtesy of my mother, who actually got her camera out on thanksgiving day (unlike the rest of us). ps... rocket has one too so... something to look forward to next year :) pps... this picture serves as a reminder that one should always utilize good posture in photos. i can't look at it without willing myself to just sit up a little straighter!
her response? "amazing! i can see him waving at me." translation? "your belly is so big i can see your fetus' appendages through your skin."
also, i had this for breakfast this morning...
due to space being at a premium in my abdomen AND the fact that each pancake was the size of a frisbee, i was only able to eat one of them. i am now counting the seconds until i can go back and get more.
i <3 asheville, nc. especially the pecan and pumpkin pie. on our way out of town we stopped to pick up pies for thanksgiving and there was a dancing chicken. he had gangsta rap blaring from his headphones.
why can't we seem to acquire appropriate pictures? no, of course we didn't take any pictures of family on thanksgiving. my fat ass and the dancing chicken is all you get.
